Our Story

It started with a missed waterfall

In 2019, our founder spent three days in Trinidad searching for a waterfall everyone in town swore was “right there.” No map, no listing, no warning about the trail conditions — just word of mouth that never quite reached outsiders.

That gap became the blueprint for IslandKTLG: a single, elegant home where independent island media, local businesses, and travelers could all meet — without losing the authenticity that makes the Caribbean what it is.

Today we work with creators and businesses across more than a dozen islands, helping real stories and real opportunities reach the people chasing them.
