Agreement

By using islandktlg.com and by reserving or purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What we do

IslandKTLG is a platform that lists island-culture events and lets you reserve tickets. Some events are free to reserve on our site; others may link out to an organizer or third-party ticket provider. On-site paid checkout is being added, and once live these terms will apply to those purchases as well.

Tickets & entry

• Each ticket carries a unique QR code and is valid for one entry. Once it is scanned at the door it cannot be used again.
• Your ticket is issued for the named attendee and event, and should not be resold or shared unless the organizer allows it.
• Please arrive with your QR code ready to scan, on your phone or printed.
• Admission may be subject to venue rules, capacity, and any age or ID requirements set by the organizer or venue.

Pricing & payment

Free events are reserved at no charge. For paid events, the price and any fees are shown before you complete your reservation. Where an event links to an outside ticket provider, that provider's terms and payment process apply.

Refunds, cancellations & changes

• Free reservations. There is no charge, so there is nothing to refund; you can simply choose not to attend, though letting us know helps the organizer plan.
• Paid tickets. Unless stated otherwise for a specific event, paid tickets are non-refundable except where the event is cancelled.
• If an event is cancelled or rescheduled, the organizer is responsible for honoring refunds or transfers. We will help connect you with the organizer and pass along information where we can.
• Event details such as date, time, line-up, and venue may change; we will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes.

Member accounts

If you create an account or list an event, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login secure. You agree not to post unlawful, misleading, or infringing content, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Organizer responsibilities

Event organizers are responsible for their own events, including delivery, safety, permits, and honoring the tickets they issue through the platform.

Limitation of liability

IslandKTLG connects attendees and organizers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of organizers, venues, or attendees, or for events that are changed, cancelled, or do not meet expectations. Our total liability relating to a ticket is limited to the amount you paid for that ticket.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The 'last updated' date at the top shows when they were last revised.
